About Abstract Insulation & Mold Remediation

Abstract Insulation & Mold Remediation is the insulation and moisture division of Abstract Roofing & Construction, a licensed New Jersey home improvement contractor.

Why roofers are good at insulation

Roofers see an attic from above and from below. We know where the roof leaks, where the vents are blocked and where the sheathing is damp. Ventilation, insulation and air sealing are one system, and an attic that is insulated without looking at the roof deck is only half done. That is the view we bring to every house.

What we do

• Attic Insulation
• Spray Foam Insulation
• Blown-In Insulation
• Crawl Space Insulation
• Air Sealing
• Mold Remediation

We are an insulation and air sealing contractor. We measure first, seal air leaks before we add insulation, and fix the moisture source before we cover anything up. Every estimate is a written scope with price ranges, so you can see what each part costs.

Where we work

Hudson, Bergen, Essex, Passaic & Morris Counties. Older wood-frame houses in Hudson, Capes and ranches in Bergen and Essex, and the damp low-lying streets near the Hackensack River are the homes we see most.
